| The morning of Saturday, August 5, 2006 in Turner Court was dedicated to the children. The school supply distribution was the main attraction for the parents, but the children were much more interested in the blow-up obstacle course, hot dogs, and the many raffle prizes. Backpacks, watches, movie passes and McDonalds gift cards were raffled off. The age limit was set at 18 years and younger to participate.
The Women's Ministry as Prestonwood Baptist Church generously donated many supplies for the drive. Women came Friday morning to prepare the supply packs and came again Saturday to help with the distribution. Along with the women's ministry, many volunteers from all over Dallas gathered to be a part of this event. The love of Christ was shared through the many smiles and hugs that were given to the children and families that attended this event.
