| What comes to mind when you think of 50,000 pounds of food, over one hundred volunteers, wrapped gifts, a warm meal, and South Dallas? Christmas, of course!
H.I.S. BridgeBuilders is getting ready for the annual celebration of Christmas with the residents of the Turner Court housing development. As a BridgeBuilders tradition, the staff will gather together, along with many volunteers from the Dallas Metroplex, to celebrate the birth of our Savior with the children and families of South Dallas.
In partnership with Feed the Children, food and personal care products will be transported to the Turner Court Multi-Purpose Center. On Christmas Day, volunteers and staff will knock on each and every door in Turner Court armed with a box of non-perishable foods, a box of personal care products, and most importantly, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each family will be invited to the gym for a warm meal and donated gifts for the children.
This celebration is a wonderful chance to show the love of Christ to any and all that do not yet know Him. It is a time to truly reflect the love that Christ so freely gives to all who trust Him. Please consider celebrating Jesus’ birth with us in Turner Court this Christmas season.
