Christmas in San Antonio

BridgeBuilders in San Antonio had two children’s Christmas parties.  One at Northeast Village with about 35 children and one at Wheatley Courts with about 60 children.  At Northeast Village the children went caroling through the neighborhood, visiting more than a dozen families to share the good news that “God loved us and sent His son.”

The children of Northeast Village received gifts, candy, and refreshments.  The gospel was presented and many children as well as adults indicated a desire to accept the LORD as their Savior.  The Northeast Village manager attended the party along with several parents and other adults.

At Wheatley Courts, the children were all given a large stuffed animal, candy, fruit, and refreshments.  Pastor Robert Emmit, Senior Pastor at Community Bible Church, shared from the Bible with the children.  Pastor Phillip Williams read the Christmas story to the children.  The children enjoyed a time of fellowship with the volunteers and with their two pastors.

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the LORD.”  May His name ever be praised and exalted, lifted up and magnified over the Northeast Village Apartments and over Wheatley Courts and over every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
