Clean Sweep
Early Saturday morning, July 15 2006, volunteers from all over the Dallas Metroplex, representing numerous churches and the Guaranty Bank Basketball Association, began arriving in the South Dallas city housing complex of Turner Courts. Many came alone, many brought their entire families, but all came excited to work. In partnership with Manhattan Construction and the Beck Group all cleaning supplies such as gloves, rakes and shovels, were provided at the many different work sites throughout the BonTon area of South Dallas. Volunteers were put into teams and then sent walking the streets of this area to share the Word of God, clean yards, sweep trash, and be a model of Christ's love. Along with the clean-up effort, many were working to build Habitat for Humanity homes. A total of eight homes will be built duing the summer and following months.

Clean Sweep is an annual event! Look for your opportunity to take part in the summer of 2007.
