FC Dallas Soccer Game On August 4th, BridgeBuilders was privileged to take four families to attend a FC Dallas Major League Soccer game as MVPs. Lift Up America, “a nonprofit humanitarian aid movement that unites corporate America, professional sports and entertainment industries, and grassroots agencies with the working poor and their families” organized the event with the FC Dallas Foundation for over 1,800 children and families. All the MVPs were given the chance to meet players, run onto the field through the team-tunnel, participate in soccer skill events on the field, and enjoy an endless supply of pizza and bottled water while cheering Dallas to a 1-0 win against the Colorado Rapids. At the conclusion of the game, all MVPs were given a goody bag and a $5,000 scholarship to Dallas Christian College. This was a fun-filled day of new experiences for all that attended and BridgeBuilders is thankful to Lift Up America and the FC Dallas Foundation for such an opportunity.   On the field at the FC Dallas soccer game.     Enjoying the game!
