Three students from the Spring 2007 GED class were nominated and approved for membership in the National Adult Education Honor Society for 2007. Membership Standards include the following categories:
Attendance
Student arrives on time and is consistently present.
Cooperation
Student works harmoniously with instructor and fellow students.
Student demonstrates patience and participates actively.
Self-Reliance
Student demonstrates personal initiative while performing education related tasks.
Student comes to class prepared, sets goals and follows through, and takes responsibility for own learning.
Leadership
Student tutors and helps others.
Student encourages family members to complete their education.
Student understands and is passionate about the value of learning and continued education.
Community Service
Student actively participates in community functions.
Student willingly volunteers to assist others.
The students were recognized at the June 2007 Community Fellowship gathering in Turner Courts. BridgeBuilders is very proud of these young women.
