On February 6th and 8th the Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) Steering Committee for San Antonio hosted a breakfast and a lunch for pastors and ministry leaders to give an overview of the plans for the 2007 observance of GDOP in San Antonio.  Sammy Tippit, Soapy Dollar, David Guion, and Duke Jonietz spoke at the breakfast covering the background of the GDOP, the ten days of prayer, the 27th of May event to be held in the Alamo Stadium at 6:30 P.M., and the 90 Days of Blessing. In San Antonio, the 90-Days of Blessing will cover the period of July, August, and September.

At the lunch Dr. Bob Bakke, Executive Director of the GDOP USA, and Mike Fechner, Minister of Global Outreach for Prestonwood Baptist Church and Founder of H.I.S. BridgeBuilders, participated to provide information to the local leaders about the GDOP 10-1-90 plan for 2007: Ten days of prayer, 1 day event on May 27th, and 90 Days of Blessing.
