Vacation Bible School Summer 2006, BridgeBuilders chose to partner with a group called Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). CEF takes teens from throughout the city and offers a 10 day intense training for what they call 5 Day Clubs. After the training, the teens come back to Dallas and do the 5 Day Club all over the city, multiple times a day. June 19-23 the team met at Cedar Springs. Being our first attempt to reach the children at this location, we were pleased to have about 25 children each day. Many of the children came multiple days in a row. In total, 50 children participated and heard the gospel presentation. Seven children expressed that they wanted to trust Christ. Praise the Lord! July 10-14 the team held 5 Day Club in Rhoads Terrace and Turner Court. There was an average attendance 30 at Rhoads Terrace and another 30 at Turner Court each day. From both locations combined, we had seven children pray to receive Christ. Again, Praise the Lord! BridgeBuilders is blessed to have worked with CEF this summer and we look forward to how we can partner with them more in the future, such as allowing some of our teens to participate in the training and 5 Day Clubs next summer! The chidren are singing the "Marching Song" which they requested each day.   The children listen as the Bible story and Gospel are prestented.
