On Sunday, February 11, 2007 BridgeBuilders hosted the monthly Community Fellowship gathering. In the loving spirit of Valentine’s Day, beautiful roses and boxes of candy were presented to each mother in attendance.
BridgeBuilders was also privileged to present an award to a special mother in the community, Sequina Moore. Sequina and her family formerly lived in the Turner Courts city housing development, but were able to receive a Habitat Home in South Dallas on November 11, 2006. Sequina and her four children are very active in their church, active in the South Dallas community and are great friends of the BridgeBuilders family. Sequina was presented with a one-night stay at an Omni Hotel. To conclude the evening, all enjoyed a delicious warm meal and great fellowship together, the tradition of all Community Fellowship gatherings.
