Getting Involved

H.I.S. BridgeBuilders is continually seeking individuals who have a passion to serve the Lord and the least of our cities. A key component to the life transformation that the ministry seeks to facilitate is made possible by volunteers who act as mentors to students in the H.I.S. BridgeBuilders classes. The ministry believes that it takes a personal touch to change a life and while our staff does a great job of bringing people into our programs it takes additional people to build a personal relationship with each of the students. If you are interested in volunteering with our ministry we encourage you to join us on Saturday mornings at 10:30 A.M. for Adopt-a-Block in BonTon where we conduct men and women's Bible studies. This is a great chance to get your feet wet and familiarize yourself with the ministry, staff, and other volunteers.
 
Furthermore, as we seek to not only change individuals, but transform communities, we are always in need of business professionals that would like assist us in starting micro-businesses in low-income communities to revitalize their economy. This is a great opportunity to use your business skills for the Kingdom and His people. Please prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to serve.
