H.I.S. BridgeBuilders is continually seeking individuals who have a passion to serve the Lord and the least of our cities.

Mentor Program

A key component to the life transformation that the ministry seeks to facilitate is made possible by volunteers who participate in the Mentor Program and act as mentors to students in the H.I.S. BridgeBuilders classes. The ministry believes that it takes a personal touch to change a life and while our staff does a great job of bringing people into our programs it takes additional people to build a personal relationship with each of the students.

Adopt-a-Block

Another way to volunteer with our ministry is to join us on Saturday mornings at 10:30 A.M. for Adopt-a-Block in BonTon where we conduct men and women's Bible studies. This is a great chance to get your feet wet and familiarize yourself with the ministry, staff, and other volunteers. Also, on the second Saturday of each month is Community Fellowship. This event brings the whole community together to worship, hear from God's word, and break bread together.

We also sponsor several annual events such as Fall Festival, Christmas Day, and VBS so be sure to check out the New and Events tab to stay informed on the upcoming opportunities for you and your family to serve.

Social Business Partners

Furthermore, as we seek to not only change individuals, but transform communities, we are in need of business professionals that would like to assist us in starting small social businesses in low-income communities to revitalize their economy and maintain the services we provide. This is a great opportunity to use your business skills for the Kingdom and His people. Please prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to serve. Lastly, H.I.S. BridgeBuilders is a non-profit organization that is dependent on contributions, grants, and foundational funding. Please consider sponsoring-a-student, which is $1,200 over a time period convenient for you, i.e. $25/month for 4 years.
