Open Closet Event

As people’s hearts were stirred to give to hurricane relief efforts, many donation sites were overwhelmed. The Missions Office of Prestonwood Church generously gave thousands of articles of clothes, many toys and book, bedding and towels, diapers and other miscellaneous items. More »

Life Skills Class: Auto 101

Bill Steadman has completed two classes on basic automobile maintenance, "Keeping Your Ride on the Road". More than 15 residents met two Saturday mornings in September to learn such things as "what the gauges/warning lights indicate, what can be checked and how, review of what is under the hood, etc". Dental Clinic Opens

Saturday, July 9th BridgeBuilders proudly opened the doors of a new dental clinic located at Rhoads Terrace Housing Development. Many volunteers gave their time and energy during the Global Day of Prayer’s 90 Days of Blessing to brightly paint all the walls of the clinic. More »

Summer Intern Program

For the summer of 2005 BridgeBuilders welcomed six high school Ministry Associate Interns. This was the first summer that BridgeBuilders hired high school students rather than college students. The six students participated in a weekly Bible Study led by Coye Bouyer. More »

Back to School Bash 2005

On Friday, August 12, 2005, 650 boxes of school supplies, backpacks, hygiene products, uniforms and shoes were passed out to pre-registered families in the South Dallas area for the upcoming school year. More »
