Clarksburg - BridgeBuilders New Branch
On Friday, December 8th, H.I.S. BridgeBuilders in Clarksburg, West Virginia met with the Clarksburg Housing Authority for the first time. During this meeting, the Housing Authority discussed their Laurel Lanes property. This property has 96 families and 93 children. More »

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn visited the BridgeBuilders Eye Clinic in Dallas on Thursday (December 14, 2006) to highlight the center’s unique work in providing job training and eye care to low-income residents in the area. More »
Kids Alive Lock-In and Christmas Parade
The first weekend of December, the Children's Directors for BridgeBuilders hosted the first Kids Alive lock-in in the Turner Courts Recreation Center. The evening began with pizza and soda and the kids iced their own cookies for dessert. More »

A New Career
The first BridgeBuilders Optical Dispensing class completed 8 weeks of study in late May. Seven ladies were recognized June 11, 2006 during the monthly Community Fellowship celebration. Each graduate received a Bible, bouquet of beautiful flowers, and a framed certificate from Bill J Priest Community College. More »
VBS 2006
Summer 2006, BridgeBuilders chose to partner with a group called Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). CEF takes teens from throughout the city and offers a 10 day intense training for what they call 5 Day Clubs. More »
GED Celebration and Graduation
HIS Bridgebuilders held its annual end-of-year celebration in June for the GED graduates and all students who completed the academic school year. Family, friends, and community volunteers attended to honor the 5 graduates, 4 Honor Society inductees, and 20 students. More »
ESL Information Sessions
H.I.S. BridgeBuilders and DISD presented an informal open house in June to research the need for an ESL class in the BonTon Community. Flyers were distributed in Turner Court and Rhoads Terrace Housing Developments along with all homes in the neighborhood. More »
Construction Class Graduates
When we started our men's discipleship program on Monday nights at the Turner Court gym, I really didn't know what to expect.
