Letter of Appreciation

Through the Eye Clinic's partnership with the Clearview Surgery Center, Rev. Ayandokun was able to receive $7,000 worth of much needed cataract surgery, free of charge to him, allowing him to clearly read as he studies for his PhD at Southwestern Seminary. More »

Clarksburg - Miracle House

Every time it rained, Miss Gay had to monitor eight buckets throughout her home that would quickly collect water from her leaky roof. This house, originally built in 1889, needed a miracle. The roof was in terrible condition, and local carpenters said to re-build the roof would take a miracle. More »

New Employment Training Class

In October 2007, H.I.S. BridgeBuilders added another class to the employment-training curriculum, computer technician. Classes are held in Rhoads Terrace Housing Development. More »

FC Dallas Soccer Game

On August 4th, BridgeBuilders was privileged to take four families to attend a FC Dallas Major League Soccer game as MVPs. Lift Up America organized the event with the FC Dallas Foundation for over 1,800 children and families. More »

VBS 2007

Heartland Church put on a Vacation Bible School for the children of Turner Court. Bringing many volunteer and children's ministry resources, the team had a stage for live music and fun songs for the kids to learn, each participating child was fed dinner each evening, and a craft and game corresponded with each lesson. GED Students Honored

Three students from the Spring 2007 GED class were nominated and approved for membership in the National Adult Education Honor Society for 2007. More »

Optical Training Graduation

The second optical training class of 2007 graduated May 13, 2007 during a wonderful evening of celebration at Turner Court. Six beautiful young women attended classes for seven weeks under the direction of Tim Elinski. More »

BridgeBuilder of the Year 2007

The Turner Courts Gym was transformed from a basketball court into a fine dining atmosphere on the evening of Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Many friends and supporters gathered to celebrate another year in which God allowed H.I.S. BridgeBuilders to minister to individuals and families in the Dallas, San Antonio, Boston and Clarksburg communities. More »

More Blessings from Wal-Mart

H.I.S. BridgeBuilders was the recipient of a $3,000 award from Wal-Mart Optical Laboratory. The award was part of the " Wal-Mart Good Works Community Involvement Program" which is based on the philosophy of operating globally and giving back locally. More »
