Introducing BridgeBuilders 300

The Bible tells us about how God used 300 men to defeat a great army numbering 1,000,000. In Judges 6-8 we see the story of an ordinary farmer, from the weakest tribe, become a great leader of Israel. The real story though is not about Gideon, but about the size of the army, 300. When the Israelites first set out to gain their freedom they numbered more than 30,000, but God only wanted 300 so that he would receive the glory of the victory.

This great miracle of God setting his people free from their oppressors with only 300 soldiers shows us the great power of our God. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever think or imagine.

Just as God used 300 of Gideon’s soldiers to conquer the enemy, H.I.S. BridgeBuilders is seeking 300 partners to fight against the hopelessness and poverty of our cities. We are calling this initiative the BridgeBuilders 300. With all that we are doing in the city there is a constant need for consistent funding to continue expanding our reach. We are seeking 300 people who will commit to give $100/month to the ministry. On Mike’s blog, he shares his heart for this initiative.
