New Staff Joining the Family

We would like to take the time to welcome some of our newest staff members at H.I.S. BridgeBuilders. We are delighted to have Kim Goss, Von Minor, and Joni Whitehead joining our team and look forward to watching as God uses them to change the lives of countless people.

Kim Goss is joining the staff as our Director of Development. She comes from Tulsa where she was President of an oil and gas acquisition company that recently sold the majority of their assets to a Houston based company. While seeking God’s direction for the next step in life, she visited Mike Fechner’s Sunday school class and got her first taste of BridgeBuilders. Since then, Kim began volunteering her time and quickly decided that God was calling her to be a part of this Kingdom movement. We are delighted to welcome Kim into the family and watch as God uses her business knowledge and background to expand His Kingdom.

Von Minor is now serving as our Director of Community Development. Von holds a M. Div. from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. We are excited to have Von leading our Community Development staff as they reach out to the residents in BonTon and enable them to take back their neighborhood for Jesus. Von is joining us from Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship where he focused on working with youth and their families. He has recently been honored by the General Baptist Convention of Texas for the outstanding work he accomplished while serving at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. It is an honor to welcome he and his family into the BridgeBuilder’s family.

Joni Whitehead is joining the BridgeBuilder’s team as Director of Employment Services. She will be working to connect our job training graduates with corporate employers. Joni joins us after serving as the General Manager of Snelling Professional Services, a staffing/recruiting firm. She has been recognized several times for her outstanding work in this field and we are thrilled to see God work through her in this new role. Joni has already begun to help our most recent graduating class secure employment. We are thankful for her willingness to serve these graduates as many of them are receiving jobs for the first time in their life.

God is continually providing our every need, whether it is financial or staff related. We are so excited to watch as God calls these successful business leaders to serve Him full-time. They are great examples of how God can professional men and women with no or little ministry background to glorify Him greatly. Please begin praying for these new team members as they embark upon an exciting journey of faith with BridgeBuilders.
