GED STUDENT VIRGINIA VALDEZ
Virginia is 25 years old and a mother of six
children. She was introduced to the ministry
by her need to perform community service, but
once she entered our doors the wonderful work
of the Lord began. We identified a few specific
needs and her journey with BridgeBuilders commenced.
She is currently working on her GED with our
instructor, Julie Busse, and is a faithful attendee
of the Thursday GED bible study led by Jeri
Fowler.
Virginia credits Pastor Von Minor as being
the most influential person in her life. “He
told me to stop jumping from one place to another,
just to stay here and see what the Lord can
do”. Virginia, is learning through her bible
study and her new relationships with other Godly
men and women that taking care of her six kids
is the upmost of her responsibilities, “I am
single mother of six kids and he (Von Minor)
taught me not to give up, to keep my head up
high, and he is going to put me in parenting
classes to help me have better communication
with my kids and to have strength.” .
The Lord is bringing people to our ministry
everyday that are ready to hear about and experience
the love of Jesus. Our GED class is a great
entry point for many people in the community.
They are surrounded by godly men and women who
pour into them both educationally and spiritually.
Thank you for continuing to support our ministry
and our GED class, which is the first step many
residents take along the journey to a changed
life, full of hope for the future and eternity.
